HPI has a staff of some 60 workers supported by 12 professional and accounting staff. The two brothers, Les and Dave Kloot, who are sole owners of the company, head it up. Les has a professional degree and has been in the industry for some 35 years. Dave has worked in management positions for some of the larger groups in the country such a Protea Holdings, Malbak and Nampak. Both have substantial stakes in the company and as such are dedicated to its success. Four project managers are able to design units exactly to customer requirements and are also responsible for ensuring the supply and commissioning of the units.

All units are locally manufactured at our Lansdowne factory and this means that we can generally supply most units within a 6-week period. It also means that we have available the expertise to handle any problems which might crop up, quickly and efficiently. All products are guaranteed for a year from commissioning on site. Our service team (Cape Town only) can be contracted to maintain our units during the guarantee period, and thereafter if required.

HPI strives to provide the atmosphere in its factory, which helps to promote safety awareness, and in 2004 was adjudged third best SMME company in South Africa in the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety standards.
